Old Tavern Farm Distillery was founded with the goal of producing the highest quality New York farm spirits.

Working closely with local farmers and producers allows us to use the best raw materials and ingredients available, keeping us intimately involved in every step of the process, resulting in genuine grain to glass spirits guaranteed to be made with 100% New York grains. We pick up our grains from farms in neighboring counties, distill locally, and age our whiskeys on our Saratoga farm in barrels from local cooper, Adirondack Cooperage.

We take great pride in being a farm distillery and make all our spirits in small batches, ensuring every bottle is a genuine reflection of our values and of the Old Tavern Farm philosophy.

We believe our passion for what we do is evident in every bottle, and we look forward to sharing a glass with you soon.

The Granary

The Granary is a lovingly restored late-1700’s timber frame grain barn and home of Old Tavern Farm Distillery’s rick house and tasting room.

The barn was carefully disassembled, relocated from another site in Saratoga County, and reassembled at the Village piece by piece. Now, over 200 years since first being raised, we’re proud to guide this historic structure into its next life. Only a building with such a heritage could we refit for this purpose — a space to age our genuine grain-to-glass whiskeys, spirits we produce with grains from nearby farms and age in locally coopered barrels, and as a place for cultivating community.

Whether you’d rather share a round with old friends at the 100 year old bar or settle in around the fire with a little bourbon, the Granary has an unusual way of coaxing its visitors to slow down, savor the moment, and indulge in revelry.
